The Mongolia Satellite Campus is responsible for the implementation of the Transnational Doctoral Programs for Leading Professionals in Asian Countries offered by Nagoya University through ASCI in Mongolia. The Mongolian Satellite Campus is located in the heart of Ulaanbaatar city right next to the Government Palace. The Satellite Campus facilities include a classroom where students attend guidance sessions conducted by their supervisors via our video conference facilities. The Satellite Campus has three administrative staff members, one designated associate professor, and two advisors.

The hybrid doctoral program at the Satellite Campus is available for Mongolian citizens, who are employed as governmental officials, faculty members of national universities, researchers at national research institutions, lawyers and judges. Those who have completed a master degree program and wish to obtain a doctoral degree without suspending their important work for the government are all welcome to apply for the program.

The Satellite Campus in Mongolia offers doctoral degrees in the fields of law, medical sciences, environmental studies as well as education and psychology. In 2014, the Graduate School of Law started accepting students for the Transnational Doctoral Programs for Leading Professionals in Asian Countries. The Graduate School of Medicine and the Graduate School of Environmental Studies have accepted applications for the ASCI doctoral program from 2016. The Graduate School of Education and Human Development has accepted applications for admission to the doctoral program since 2018.

Mongolia Satellite Campus currently has fourteen doctoral students in four different fields. The Graduate School of Environmental Studies has five doctoral students, who work at different government institutions such as Ministry of Environment and Tourism, National Emergency Management Agency, and Institute of Meteorology, Hydrology and Environment. Four doctoral students currently pursue doctoral studies at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development. Graduate School of Medicine has three students while the Graduate School of Law has doctoral students studying at the Mongolia Satellite Campus. These students are employed full-time at various state institutions such as the Ministry of Health and Sports, courts, and national universities while doing research under the close supervision of their academic advisors. The first doctoral degree at Mongolia Satellite Campus was awarded to Judge Ts. Tsogt in September 2017 by the Graduate School of Law.
